So delicate...so beautiful

There is a divinely noble sensibility to Gabriel Faure's sense of melody and movement within the music. The structure is so well established but feels so free flowing. It just hits... different than anything else I've ever heard. We need more composer with these kind of skills but I fear that the world may be lacking the power in imagination that features so strongly in Faure's and his pupils works and styles.

Can you please give me the name of the piece? And which movement it is? I'd bet Shostakovitch but...

i love this piece so much, its just so powerful and beautiful! i have myotonia congenita (my muscles get stiff when i use them) so this piece (namely the fast middle section) is very difficult for me to physically be able to play, but when i did it for one of my recitals i was luckily able to get my hands on some muscle relaxants and i was able to play it at full tempo! how i long to be able to play it again but i cant take those meds anymore because they interfere with my other ones :')
